Eddies NFT – Intellectual Property Rights

1. Ownership of Eddies IP

All rights in the Eddies brand, lore, characters, names, and trademarks ("Eddies IP") are owned and controlled by Ed3.

Holding an Ed NFT does not grant you ownership of the broader Eddies IP.

2. Exclusive Rights of NFT Holders

When you mint or purchase an Ed NFT, you gain exclusive ownership rights to the digital artwork linked to that NFT. This includes:

Unlimited Commercial Rights

  • You may use, reproduce, display, modify, and monetize your specific Ed NFT artwork in any way you choose, including but not limited to merchandise, content, media, and derivative works.
  • There are no revenue caps or limitations on how you monetize your Ed NFT’s artwork.

Exclusivity

  • Only the current holder of a given Ed NFT has the right to commercialize or exploit that specific artwork.
  • Once the NFT is transferred or sold, these rights pass automatically to the new holder.

3. Restrictions

While holders enjoy exclusive rights to their NFT’s artwork, they may not:

  • Claim ownership or rights to the Eddies brand, lore, or trademarks beyond their individual Ed.
  • Use the name “Eddies” or related branding in a way that suggests official endorsement or partnership, without permission from Ed3.
  • Use the artwork or derivatives for illegal, defamatory, or hateful purposes.

4. Transfer of Rights

  • On selling or transferring your Ed NFT, all exclusive rights to that Ed’s artwork transfer to the new holder.
  • You retain no further rights to use or monetize that artwork after transfer.

5. Brand Assets

  • The Eddies name, wordmark, and logos remain the sole property of Ed3.
  • These cannot be used for brand-wide projects or products without express written permission.

6. Termination

  • Exclusive rights are valid as long as you hold the NFT.
  • Any use of your Ed NFT’s artwork that violates laws or these terms may result in revocation of rights.

7. Disclaimer

Ed NFTs are digital collectibles and grant holders creative and commercial rights over their specific artwork. They do not represent ownership of the broader Eddies brand, universe, or IP.
